Friction Pantograph - Top 2C and Top 4C
The TOP 2C and TOP 4C are manual operated friction pantographs for single loads of up to 18 kg (39.7 Lbs). TOP 2C extends 2 m (6’-6”), TOP 4C 3.8 m (12’-5”).
The innovative design of the pantograph allows lights to be placed closer to the ceiling than ever before. A complete new range of top and bottom attachments have been designed to reduce at minumum the closed length. Entirely produced in Aluminum (P-Al MgSi UNI3569) and according to DIN 15560-46 it is available in two different extension: 2 m (79") and 3.8 m (150") long. The load is supported by a steel cable of 2 mm diameter (safety factor 12). Loads up to 12 kg (26.4 Lbs) can be supported by the patented friction device, while loads up to 18 kg (39.7 Lbs) require the use of optional springs.

The built-in, patented friction device with its colored notched ring allows to adjust the friction in the system to ensure the load will float when set into position, but will move smoothly up and down when necessary. Without any additional springs the pantograph can support up to 4 kg (8.8 Lbs.) To increase the lifting capacity, add counterbalance springs accordingly.
